A few necessary updates

First, I have been invited to join Phi Beta Kappa! Hawt! It would have been nice to have gotten the email about this before I sent in another job application complete with a Phi Beta Kappa-less resume, rather than (literally) one second after. But still. Nice.

Second, a link that just seems so morbidly ironic I can't help but laugh at it:

Oh, yes. And apparently Martin Sheen has been invited to run for Senate, but declined. Good man. Although he is one actor that I would vote for. Image, and all, y'know. Tickity tock!

No, it's not that I'm going to refuse to join. It's that my job applications look much better if they have "member of Phi Beta Kappa" on them than if they don't. And I didn't know that I was a member when I applied for all those jobs, so I didn't write that I was a member.
