The kittycats are not working

They make me nervous. It's so weird, but there it is. I'm constantly wondering where they are, if they are damaging things, unable to wear my pajamas out in the living room because I try to keep my room free from cat hair. Even when they sit in my lap I can't relax, because they're kneading my clothes with their claws. It's only been a day or so, but I have severe misgivings about keeping them. Sushu, doll that she is, is willing to find them a nice home, and they do deserve one. I don't like discovering that, while I thought all my life I was a cat person, suddenly I'm not.

Pooh. It's an illusion I would have liked to have kept. I do like cats. I just don't like living with them.

Oh dear! Well, I would say give it another little bit of time and see if you can get used to them. If you can't, there is a possiblity we might be able to take them, though I don't know yet. All of us here want cats, but we don't know if we have a good plan for them after this year. But we are thinking about it, so let me know if you can't keep them and can't find something else.

Also Travis and I just got a kitten and I think it needs another - although he might not think so. How many kittycats do you have?

We have two. They are very friendly, but they are not kittens. One, Goma, is fairly young--kitten last year--, pretty lively, and a sucker for being brushed. (Black with white paws and chin.) The other, Theo, is older, in an English-gentleman type way. He's reserved and placid, and probably is more likely to get along well with other cats, although Sushu knows more about them than I do. But then, I think it's more important that Goma have company, if you only want one more cat, because Theo is more likely to get along with other cats simply because he doesn't interact with them that much. Again, I think. I've only known them a few days.
