My ID was requested today, so that a few friends going downtown (I stay home, in the warm and dry, while outsiide it raineth and bloweth) could bring an underage friend to a pub with them. I said no. I was asked again. I said no. Why did I say no? Was it because it was illegal? Was it because, even though I don't agree with the drinking age, the law is the law is the law? Was it because I was afrid of repercussions? Was it because I think it's wrong to use fake identification, whether or not it's related to underage drinking? Was it because I just didn't like the underage person all that much? All I'm really sure about is that I'm glad I refused, and I'm glad I never considered agreeing. I'd like to know why I'm glad, though.
